ABOUT THE RAZOR: go to page

Understanding that time is often critical in our business, we can not always count on or wait for conditions to be favorable or at least acceptable during harvest season. We grew up as farmers just like you and because of our understanding of the real world of farming we know our Razor will benefit you in the most difficult conditions. Whether it comes to wet conditions due to rain or lowland spots that might just be a bit greener then we would like, the Razor will keep the waste discharging and you on your schedule.

The design for the Razor is a result of our personal experience and the desire to improve what is often a very challenging time of the year, having gone through
wet seasons, or just a tough schedule, like so many of you, we know the Razor
will benefit you and the results will be obvious.

The Razor can currently be fitted to 80 and 60 series combines from Case IH.
Contact us and let us know your machine and we will gladly discuss your situation.
The original Razor is designed and built to keep a smooth flow through the feeder

more time cutting and getting your product out of the field and off to market.

For those tougher conditions, we offer the bolt on shark teeth for the original Razor.
The shark teeth will add an even greater feeding ability in extremely green viney crops that will keep the material moving up the feeder to the rotor. Wet harvest seasons, a traditionally tough section of field, or perhaps you just have too many low areas that keep you stopping and clearing the feeder, the Razor Shark Teeth version is for you, this aggressive design will allow you to start earlier in the season and let you go longer into the cold wet nights.

The Razor will definetly increases throughput in your combine by up to 30 percent,
while improving fuel efficiency and reducing wear on many of the parts in your machine.

TESTIMONIALS: go to page

"The improved feed with the Razor in tough conditions is remarkable. I harvest some green stemmed beans as well as barley where the grain is 18% and the straw still has a green tint to it. The Razor's proficiency in these tough conditions really pays off, where the standard beater will choke on a wad of straw, the Razor feathers it out. The key to maximizing combine capacity is giving the rotor an even feed, the Razor does this flawlessly and delivers a side benefit of a greatly improved drive chain life.”

Brian H. ~ Lancaster, PA ~ Case IH 2366 combine

Primary crops: corn, soybeans, wheat
"Replacing my oem rock trap beater with "The Razor" was the single biggest improvement I have made to my CIH 1680. It has made a huge improvement in
harvesting green stem beans. It is amazing how the Razor evens out material flow
from the feeder to the rotor with no more backfeeding. It has improved feeding, threshing, and offers great rock protection. Thank you Carl, for an excellent product. ”

Kenny C. ~ Sisseton SD ~ a pair of Case IH 1680 combines

Primary crops: corn, soybeans
"we put the Razor beater in a 2388 and a 1680 the first year and greatly improved
the feeder capacity. The next year we put the third Razor in the other 1680 because it worked so well in the other two combines. I also seen reduced wear on feeder house parts, shafts, sprockets, reverser chains and feeder chains because of the better flow through the feeder house into the rotor!

"To be honest, the main reason that I installed the razor is that my neighbor designed it and his dad helps me in the spring and fall. We put it in our 1660 and with in five minutes of straight cutting wheat my son and I noticed a remarkable difference in the even smooth feeding of wheat to the rotor. As the sun went down and the straw is getting tough but the kernels are still dry the razor allowed us to go longer in the evening. I thought I was impressed in wheat but the Razor really shined when we got to the soybeans. Most noticeable was when one came to a spot than may have some green stems in it, the constant and smooth feeding saved wear and tear on the machine and my nerves. I may trade combines but the different machine will definitely have a razor in it before we begin harvest. Small investment that makes a BIG difference."
